Heroes & Thanks

Jennifer Mitchell - Thank you so much for being there for me and giving me advice about what to write, and of course entertaining me with your own story. It helped me release and take a rest from my work. Thanks for reading all this time, reading every single chapter and commenting on what was good and what was bad. Thanks for doing the band with me. You technically came up with the idea of making a song, even though I was thinking it but never said it. Thank you for bearing all of my complaining and my crying and my hyper moments too and for going places with me that you never wanted to go. Thanks for teaching me not to judge a book by its cover, and for getting me to read more. I wouldn't be where I am now if you didn't tell me to read more books. Thank you for being honest.

Adam Freebourne - Thank you so deerly for being my best friend and for taking care of me when I cried and crying with me. You are definately a real man because you can cry without feeling feminine. Thanks for telling me to write down my ideas and feelings. Thanks so much for reading every chapter as soon as it was posted. I'm sorry I didn't finish it before you passed. Thanks for inspiring me to write Breathe Again and thanks for listening to it and teaching me more of the guitar. Thank you so much for loving me and respecting me and my space and stealing (on a technicality)Justin's car and driving 20 miles up here as soon as I needed you, even if I didn't ask. Thank you for the wonderful last year of your existence and for suggesting that I read so many of your, and now mine, favorite books. Thanks for helping me develope the characters of Max Rivers and Kyle Hartely. They are a perfect split of your personality. Rest in Peace Forever, my love. I will keep my promise. Thanks for listening.

My Mother, Brenda McClure - You have always let me be independant. Thank you for taking pride in me for everything I work my big butt off to do. Thanks for complimenting me as I struggled to lose weight. Thanks for being there and hugging me through the loss of our friends and reassuring me that I am doing well. Thank you for keeping me away from hurting myself further than I have. Thanks for encouraging me to be myself and accepting me for who I am. You will get the third copy of my book. Thanks for being mom.

Stephenie Meyer - You litteraly saved my summer of 2008. Your interesting work had me craving more, and had also helped me lose weight (I was too into it that I wouldn't put the book down to eat junk food). You, yourself, have inspired me, not just your work. You are from my hometown, a place that is not the friendliest, most popular city, and you were not the thinnest prettiest woman (though I think you are absolutely gorgeous) and you had children to take care of as well and you accomplished such a huge task, writing 5 1/2 giant wonderful novels and you continue to write. I can't fathom that outcome for myself. I don't know how you do it. Thanks for helping me have that dream. I wouldn't have had it without Bella's deciding to move reminding me of my own desire to leave this city and move up north (even though she didn't wish to leave Phoenix). Thanks. Keep writing!

Laurie Halse Anderson -  I havn't read many of your books, just Speak. It helped me realize that though I strive to be mega detailed, my novel doesn't have to be four hundred pages long to be good. I am almost at the 300 mark, and you ended your's with 198. It captured my attention and gave me more of an external feeling of what it is like to be taken advantage of. My own experience never got that far, thank goodness, but most people who have been through what June and Melinda have refuse to talk about it or can never explain it thoroughly enough for a writer, and with good reasoning. The life of Melinda was much like my own muted self in early sophomore year and late Junior year, so I can sympathize. The story upsets me with how rude teenagers can be and help me explains June's anti-social life more thoroughly and dramatically. You helped me realize that a good book is not always a long one. Thanks for the inspirations.

All of my friends - I have never had that many acquaintances in my life. Thank you for being enthused by my stories, even without reading them you sound interested and are all begging me for a copy. Thanks for dealing with all of my complaining. I whine a lot, but thanks for calming me down and being around when I need a hug.

*Thanks to Stephany. You are my most avid reader besides Jenn, Adam and Caitlin. It is funny when you get angry at my story and take it out on me.

*Thanks to Elizabeth Garcia. You were the first person to wanted to read it and commit besides Jenn and Adam. Thanks for slowly, but surely, being active.

*Marie, Caitlin, Chelsea, Nancy and Kelly. Though Kelly has not read it, you seem interested. Thanks for the support. Thanks Marie and Caitlin for giving me advice as well as praise, and entertaining me with your stories too.

*Thank you Marie for being so supportive with my books and for helping us with our music. We really needed it. Fruity loops is awesome and would never have a clue it existed if not for you. thank you so much.

*Caitlin, I can't thank you enough for being there for me. You were my most fanned reader and im so happy that you got into my story in the first place. Thank you for keeping up with it and making me smile and for also being willing to perform the segment of it for theater class. It was an honor to know that you could enjoy my stressful work and teaching me that it is ok to be out there when I doubted myself. You have cheered me up so greatly when I was on the ground. Thanks.

*Thanks to Nativekuniochi, Jolisa, my butterfly. You have supported our band so much. Neither of us can thank you enough. No suitable words will suggest how much we are glad to have had you work on our videos. We thank you dearly for the publicity and the support!

Others - Outsiders who do not know me... Can't say much there, but everytime I take my printed copy to school, you see the font and say, "Oh my friend was reading that and said it was good. She doesn't put it down. Can I borrow it?" Sorry, but my manuscript is only given as a preview to certain trusted peoples. But as soon as i get it published, I will come back down to WHS and try to sell special copies to you and keep you informed. Thanks for not knowing me but continuing to spread the word...Thanks to everyone. You all tend to make my life more difficult, but I will miss all of you when I move. Thanks.

Thanks Monster Energy drinks for keeping me up late at night so I can write.

Thanks all of my favorite bands. You have all inspired me so much and have helped me concentrate when I write. It's hard staying on task with A.D.D., so thank you for the entertainment.
